Integrated Care Systems (ICS): the new world of musculoskeletal care, part 1
One of the most radical changes to the NHS is upon us with the roll out of Integrated Care Systems(ICS). The White Paper is due for a second Parliament reading in the Autumn with a view to adoption into law in April 2022. This will replace the competitive edge to commissioning and encourage more collaboration with local Councils, care services and other bodies designed to improve efficiency and eliminate inequality in provision of care. Uncertainty exists around various aspects of the bill including payment methods to secondary care trusts and also the shape of musculoskeletal pathways moving forward.
Speakers include:
• Andrew Bennett, National Clinical Director for MSK NHSE/I who will discuss his expectations for the MSK pathways in this "new" NHS.
• Rob Hurd, Senior Responsible Officer for the North Central London ICS who will share the progress of this ICS.

Part 2 will be held on 7 July, for more information go to the NOA website events page https://nationalorthopaedicalliance.co.uk/eventscategories/future-events/

Staff from NOA member trusts can access more information and resources, on this event and other NOA activities in the Members Area of the NOA website: https://nationalorthopaedicalliance.co.uk/members-area/
