In this webinar the National Back Pain Clinical network (NBP-CN) will launch the framework of assessment and referral of early CES for Primary care clinicians and MSK interface services. This framework is aligned to the BASS/SBNS Standards of Care for Investigation & Management of CES and will help primary care clinicians’ asses and identify patients with emerging CES and act appropriately.

This webinar is aimed at those clinicians working in primary care who may encounter spinal patients in either a GP surgery, clinic setting or interface service. The team will discuss the latest evidence behind CES and walk through how the framework can support those working in these services.

This consensus document is the result of collaborative working between numerous professional bodies and stakeholders. Key features of the framework will be outlined. Expert stakeholders from primary and secondary care will then highlight how it will facilitate best practise in the management of CES from their perspective. The session will include live interaction with the attendees via polling/Q&As.
