Ivonne M. García is the inaugural chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer at The College of Wooster. She joined Wooster in June 2019. Previously, she worked for 13 years at Kenyon College, where she was a Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation Fellow, founding faculty and co-director of the Kenyon Educational Enrichment Program (KEEP) for underrepresented students, the first Associate Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Associate Provost for faculty development and mentoring, and a founding faculty member of the Latinx Studies Concentration.
