DESCRIPTION: In our complex world, we find ourselves with constant change. With ongoing changes, we may find ourselves need to learn new systems and procedures on a regular basis. As a municipal clerk, at times, you need to pass along knowledge to both colleagues and the residents of your city/town. In this webinar, we will learn different ways to teach and train others. This includes both one-on-one training and training groups whether in person or virtually. We will look at the things to do and say that set the stage for a successful transfer of knowledge. We will pay attention to the cognitive domain. This is the domain of knowledge and intellect, and is the main focus of most educators. In this webinar we will look at how we can best to train and teach other taking into account the cognitive, intuitive and hands-on domains that make training successful. The instructor has been teaching and training others for over 25 years leading over 1300 workshops and seminars. We invite all attendees to turn on their video camera throughout this interactive webinar.

Instructor: Jim Ognibene, M.Ed. – Jim has 25 years of experience as a Facilitator of Group Learning, Career Coach, Speaker, Educator, and Talent Development Consultant. Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing from George Mason University, Virginia and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He has been a NEMCI faculty member since 2018 and has led over 20 NEMCI webinars since 2020.
