Advocates & Allies: Realising the rights and voices of older people with lived experience
Join the latest webinar in our Advocates & Allies series as we hear how organisations and communities can meet the needs and aspirations of older people with lived experiences of mental health and disability through collaboration, capacity building, supported decision making and recovery.

Hear from the NSW Ageing and Disability Commissioner, Robert Fitzgerald and Acting Director Older People’s Mental Health Policy Unit, NSW Ministry of Health, Elizabeth Abbott about engaging with older people and people with disability, promoting systemic reform and best practice, and how lived experience informs their work. You will hear about collaborations and the interface across the broader services system, including with community-mananged organisations.

There will also be an opportunity to engage in a Q&A session hosted by Mental Health Coordinating Council CEO, Carmel Tebbutt.
