Covid-19 impact chat - aviation: Vicente Padilla, Martin St Amour & Fernando Ferraz - Moderator: Luis Sanz
In this “COVID-19 impact chat” we focus on the companies that work in our innovation ecosystems, with a conversation featuring representatives from the aviation industry who will explore the threats and opportunities the sector is facing thanks to the pandemic.

Senior leaders from Aertec (based in Andalusia Technology Park, Spain), Akaer Group (based in Parque Tecnológico São José dos Campos, Brazil) and GE Aviation (based in Bromont Science Park, Canada) will discuss how the crisis has affected the industry, and explore opportunities & pivots as they have risen to the challenges posed by COVID-19.

About the speakers
Fernando Ferraz is the COO of Akaer Group, a Brazilian engineering company that has been operating since 1992 in the aerospace and defence sectors nationally and internationally, offering high tech content services and innovative solutions for the development of aerostructures and systems.

Vicente Padilla is the co-founder and CEO of AERTEC Solutions (based in Andalusia Technology Park, Spain), an aeronautics company that has carried out projects and studies in 40 countries. They participate in the world’s largest aerospace programmes and have reference projects at 160 international airports.

Martin St Amour is Senior Operation Management at GE Aviation, a world-leading provider of jet and turboprop engines, as well as integrated systems for commercial, military, business and general aviation aircraft. GE Aviation has a global service network to support these offerings.

The webinar lasts 45 minutes and you are invited to stay on for another 15 minutes of networking!
