How do we ensure that valid information regarding vaccines is circulated and accepted at all levels of society both in developed and in less developed countries? How do we disentangle outright vaccine refusal from vaccine hesitancy?
The final speaker, Professor Franco Cappuccio, discusses failures to protect policies on healthy nutrition, and in particular reducing dietary sodium, from non-scientific threats. He proposes actions needed to support evidence-based public policies on dietary sodium and the significant efforts that need to be made to ensure the integrity of nutritional research and maintain public trust.
