Successful Deployment of Milling Optimisation Technology

Description

The webinar is focused on real life data obtained from mine sites, via IIoT devices, to increase the sustainability of the milling circuit. This data includes:

• F80 particle size
• Mill vibration data to compute trajectory, toe angle, fill vectors and ball charge.

This data will then be analysed in order to develop advanced process control (APC) models, monitoring, feedback and adjustments.

Damian has a well-developed knowledge and experience of bulk materials handling equipment (feeders, isolation gates, reagent preparation systems, automated rock breaker boom systems and mill grinding media dosing systems) and process instrumentation for bulk materials handling, nucleonic detection and in-stream sampling and analysis. This was developed through job roles including Repair/QC Technician, Field Service Engineer, Senior Field Sales Engineer and Product Manager. He has a sound understanding of mineral processing techniques for commodities such as bauxite/alumina, coal, copper, gold, iron ore (both haematite and magnetite) lead, nickel, silver, tin and zinc.
