February 7, 2023 - City Council

Public comment will be taken during the meeting both in person and via Zoom. Public comment via Zoom, requires advanced sign up by 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. To speak in person, you must sign up at City Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. After completing the signup, you will receive a link by email to log onto and/or call into Zoom. At the start of the public comment period, the Mayor will call speakers forward, and you will be made a meeting panelist. You will have two minutes to speak. The Council will refrain from commenting until all public comment has been taken.

Students using School District Chromebooks will not be able to log into the meeting and will need to use a different device or view the meeting via TCTV.

The Community may address items related to City business, including items on the agenda. This is a LIMITED PUBLIC FORUM. So that the Council can maintain impartiality and the appearance of fairness in upcoming matters and comply with Washington State law, speakers will not be permitted to make comments in the following areas:
• Public Hearings held in the last 45 days or a Public Hearing within 45 days.
• Matters which the Council will be required to act in a quasi-judicial capacity.
• Promotes or opposes a candidate for public office or a ballot measure.
• A personal attack on someone’s honesty, integrity, reputation or attributes protected under Washington State’s Law Against Discrimination.
