Hour of Code: Turtle Graphics with Tracy the Turtle

Computer Science Education week is December 5th - 11th! Register your classroom for a virtual Hour of Code with CodeHS to give your students the opportunity to learn how coding connects to the real world.

This hour-long workshop will begin with guest speaker Dr. Sreyoshi Bhaduri, a Research Scientist at Amazon! After Sreyoshi shares her coding journey, the CodeHS curriculum team will dive in to introduce students to the basics of programming by drawing shapes with Tracy the Turtle. Recommended Skill Level: Beginner, Middle School or High School

Setup: this workshop will be a webinar format, which means that students will not be able to write into a chat field or show their video. We will open up the chat for introductions at the start of the workshop and for questions at the end of the workshop.
