Lunch & Learn: Consolidation in Agricultural Input Industries: Drivers and Impacts with Dr. Philip Howard

Philip H. Howard is a Professor of Community Sustainability at Michigan State University and a member of the International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food). His visualizations of food system changes, particularly trends of consolidation in food and agricultural industries, have been featured in numerous media outlets and policy forums. His publications include the book Concentration and Power in the Food System: Who Controls What We Eat? (2016 and 2021) and the recent IPES-Food report, The Politics of Protein (2022).
