Jodie is a professional landscape designer, sustainable landscape design instructor, and former public garden Director focused on sustainable landscapes. She was certified in Landscape Architecture through the University of California, Berkeley and has trained at the New York Botanical Garden School of Horticulture and Design. She is certified in various sustainability-oriented initiatives. She taught California-Friendly Landscaping for The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and teaches The Sustainable Landscape and Native Garden Design at Saddleback College. Jodie has been featured in the Orange County Register, the Dana Point and San Clemente Times, Fine Gardening Magazine, on the radio show In The Garden on KUCI, APLD’s California Landscape Design and CNN International’s Style section and in the award-winning feature length documentary Metamorphosis.
