Dr. Patrycja Krakowiak
Life Science Specialist @ASMSA
. Dr. Krakowiak has been a biology teacher at the Arkansas School for Math, Sciences and the Arts (ASMSA) for the past 16 years. In addition to high school, she has taught at undergraduate, graduate and medical school levels. She is both state and nationally board certified in Science Education at the Adolescence and Young Adulthood level. After obtaining a B.S. degree in chemistry with an emphasis in molecular biology from Brigham Young University, a Ph.D. degree from University of Utah, and studying birth defects at the National Institutes of Health and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as a scientist, Dr. Krakowiak shifted her focus to help develop innovative educational tools and strategies for students and teachers.
Dr. Katharine Hurst

Dr. Hurst has been practicing medicine in the greater Hot Springs and Little Rock area since 2000. Dr. Hurst earned her medical degree from UAMS in Little Rock in 1995. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Texas A & M’s College of Medicine, Scott and White Hospital. Dr. Hurst has served the Hot Springs community as Medical Director at Cooperative Christian Ministries, along with a range of experience in additional area hospitals and clinics.
Sarah Rudder
Student @National Park College
Sarah a student at National Park Community College. She currently serves as President of the Student Government Association and is also a Nighthawk Student Ambassador. Sarah is in the honors program and intends to get a bachelors in Graphic Design with an emphasis on management and leadership. Sarah is heavily involved in prevention and has a goal to educate as many youth as possible with her message about the Malfunctions on Marijuana.
