Dental Insurance Advocacy: Your ADA at Work for you
Dental insurance and third party issues are typically rated as one of the most critical concerns confronting dental offices today. ADA staff often receive questions as to what the ADA is doing to help dentists when it comes to working with dental insurance plans. The ADA has been and continues to be extremely active in advocating for dentistry.

In this webinar dentists will learn what ADA is doing at both the federal and state levels regarding proposed legislation and how this can affect dentists and patients. It is incumbent for dentists to know whether a patient’s plan is regulated at the state or federal level and how this may affect plan reimbursement. Dentists will learn how to receive individual assistance and receive information on the many valuable resources the ADA has to help educate dental offices on dental insurance issues.

Dentists will also learn about the differences between paid premium or fully-insured (state regulated) and self-funded dental benefit programs and how these plans can affect a dentist's revenue stream. In addition, a question and answer session will follow.
