The Lindeberg-designed estate of Ellsleigh in Biltmore Forest, near Asheville, NC, was completed in 1927 for Robert Lee Ellis, former president of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Asheville. Architect Gregory Koester, who worked on the restoration of Lindeberg’s personal home, provides a unique insight into the design and evolution of this estate. The webinar is enriched by a treasure trove of documents found in the home, including elevations and correspondence between Lindeberg and Ellis. The webinar also features interviews with two modern era owners and a video tour of many of the notable elements, along with the interior design work of Ernesta Beaux. There will be a live Q&A following the presentation.
