The focus of the webinar will be the Round 3 programs launched by the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KA.CARE). These programs are part of the KA.CARE’s efforts to localize renewable energy technologies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This presentation will provide an introduction to KA.CARE and the Technology Localization and Commercialization (TLC) Department, provide an overview of each of the four TLC programs, including details on the level of funding available, information about who can apply, and explanation of the expected outcome of each program. The webinar will also provide a timeline of submission deadlines with next steps for organizations to apply for funding. Presentations on the topic will be delivered by Dr. Mustapha Taoumi, Energy Technology Expert, EU GCC Clean Energy Technology Network and Mr. Ahmad Barbari, Technology Localization, King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE).
