The EU CRIMARIO II initiative, whose Inception Phase was launched in April 2020, focuses on enabling beneficiary partners to improve maritime governance in the Western Indian Ocean, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Since the project’s Inception Phase is now drawing to a close, the CRIMARIO II team are offering parties familiar with CRIMARIO II and the IORIS platform, a briefing about the project’s state of play and proposed activities in the Western Indian Ocean, based on three key approaches: (1) enhancing regional engagements; (2) forging partnerships; and (3) developing the IORIS maritime coordination platform.
This webinar is the first in a cycle of activities commencing aimed at bringing decision-makers, maritime experts and managers of maritime centres up to speed on CRIMARIO II intentions in the Western Indian Ocean. A separate webinar is scheduled earlier at 9:00 am on Thursday 8 April for those in the Western Indian Ocean who do not know the project.
Delivered in English; this webinar is also delivered in French on Wednesday 7 April at 11:00 CET.
