Three case studies will be presented by artists who work with different community groups including: Anna Daly on her early years work, Kasia Truefit's project Magical Minds and Filipa Pereira Stubb's approach to working in clinical settings. Following the case studies Kirsten Hutton, Consultant - Arts, Education, Evaluation, will lead delegates through a 'Theory of Change' approach to open discussion how we can identify need and make changes locally to dance practice in order to: develop our own dance practice, the ecology of the dance sector in Hertfordshire and the impact on our communities.
This webinar is the final of a six-part series that takes a look at how the dance sector in Hertfordshire can increase access to dance provision for more members of our local communities. It offers professional development for practitioners, potential audience development for dance businesses and places greater value on the social impact of dance.
#TAG is a Hertfordshire based project that aims to celebrate the Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020 by commissioning a programme of seven intergenerational dance projects with professional artists, working with communities in the districts of Dacorum, Watford and Three Rivers. Funded by Arts Council England.
