Sustainable Winegrowing Australia update
Description
Sustainable Winegrowing Australia is Australia’s national program for grapegrowers and winemakers to demonstrate and continuously improve their sustainability in the vineyard and winery through the environmental, social and economic aspects of their businesses. The program is a collective effort, for the wine sector by the wine sector. Australian Grape & Wine, the AWRI and Wine Australia are working together to accelerate uptake of the program across the nation, in FY22 achieving over 45% membership growth. It remains as important as ever to take action on sustainability, as global dynamics continue to rapidly evolve, and scrutiny of sustainably produced products is taking centre stage, largely driven by customer and consumer demand.
This webinar will provide an update on:
- Market access outlook and marketing
- The global and domestic geopolitical landscape
- The program itself, including membership, certification, use of the trust mark and recent workbook improvements.
