Aspirin De-prescribing and PPI Prescribing: Gastroprotection Among Patients Taking Oral Anticoagulants

This webinar will focus on aspirin de-prescribing with PPI prescribing as an overall “gastroprotection” strategy for patients taking anticoagulants. There has been much work which supports aspirin de-prescribing as a strategy to reduce GI bleeding. Currently, there is limited data (no trials) for PPIs as primary prevention among anticoagulated patients, and no guideline recommendations to support. We will hear from two experts from the University of Michigan, who will share their expertise and insights.
