EAIE Community Moment: Making ends meet: student poverty in Europe
Students today are concerned with making ends meet—and with good reason. Inflation has been rising rapidly in Europe, housing shortages are evident in key cities, and the average student debt burden continues to increase. So, how urgent is the issue of student poverty in Europe? And how is the higher education community responding to these cost-of-living and cost-of-studying concerns? Join us for this EAIE Community Moment with Matteo Vespa, President of the European Students’ Union, as we explore the growing issue of financial hardship for students in Europe. This event is free for EAIE members and non-members.

Please be aware that this session will be recorded. Your name and comments will be visible for those that register if you decide to interact in chat. Come prepared to meet your community and share your insights on this current topic in this short, interactive EAIE community check-in. This 30-minute session will conclude with an optional 15-minute collaborative exercise between participants.
