The Islamic finance industry is a relatively new entrant to the world of finance. To compete with the conventional players, the Islamic financial institutions (IFIs) must provide a unique and an attractive proposition to consumers and investors. Not forgetting, the IFIs has to navigate themselves around the additional compliance responsibilities in Shariah requirements.
As such, the IFIs have to constantly innovate to stay competitive and better serve the needs of consumers and investors. This panel is to discuss and exchange ideas on various interesting and thought provoking concepts of Islamic Banking across countries, e.g. Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.
