Climate - are We prepared to Change? With Professor Jim Skea, IPCC

Our final speaker in the ‘Change in a Time of Chaos’ series of webinars is Professor Jim Skea of Imperial College London, and the Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group III, which recently released their report on Climate Change 2022: Mitigation of Climate Change.
Prof. Jim Skea will join us on Tuesday 10 May at 19:30 BST to speak about issues arising from this report which provides an updated global assessment of climate change mitigation progress and pledges, examines the sources of global emissions, and identified the steps which governments, communities, and individuals all need to take now if we are to avoid damaging climate change.
When the IPCC Working Group III report was launched Jim Skea warned: “It’s now or never, if we want to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Without immediate and deep emissions reductions across all sectors, it will be impossible.”
