Citizen Science & Libraries: Help Develop RNA-based Medicines Through Citizen Science Online Presentation and Q&A

Register for this event for an introduction to citizen science, to learn more about libraries as hubs for citizen science, and to learn how to participate in citizen science projects that study genetics through a presentation and online Q&A.

Eterna invites contributors to become RNA scientists. Contributors solve puzzles to design specialized RNA-based medicines and sensors, receive feedback after their designs are built and tested in a lab at Stanford, and work together to build knowledge about how RNA works.

Do Soon Kim, a leader of Eterna, will be in conversation with representatives from the Network of the National Library of Medicine - Pacific Northwest Region.

Join us on Zoom and submit your own questions on the Q&A/Chat features during the event. This event is supported by the Network of the National of Libraries of Medicine, All of Us, and SciStarter.

The event will be an hour and a half long. The first hour is geared toward a general audience of all ages, and the last thirty minutes will focus on best practices for community leaders to get others involved in citizen science.
