Day 2: Panel 2 - Dangerous Information: Whistleblowing & Investigative Journalism
Information empowers citizens to take action against the corrupt. However, Papua New Guinea does not have a Right to Information law. This means that those implicated in corruption will want to shut down public access to information, either from state agencies or from the media. This shutting down of dangerous information perpetuates national, societal, economic and environment issues.

How can Papua New Guineans learn about instances of corruption if considered dangerous to share information in the public interest?
