The world of labor relations has dramatically shifted in the months following President Biden’s inauguration. The immediate dismissal of the National Labor Relations Board's General Counsel (during his inaugural address) was the first sign of sweeping changes to the labor landscape.
Since then, significant new legislation has begun making its way through congress resulting in the proposition of the PRO Act. If the PRO Act is passed, it will be the most significant change to U.S. labor law in decades.
While any industry can be impacted by evolving labor laws, employers in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, tech, and professional services are particularly vulnerable. Even if labor relations have not been a concern in the past, now is the time to educate yourself on the possible changes and how you can prepare for them.
In this session, Steve Dion will team up with our labor relations consulting partner, Jay Kuhns, Vice President at IRI Consultants, the country’s largest labor relations firm. They will be discussing current labor activities in a variety of industries. Steve and Jay will share insights and best practices on how best to prepare for these labor changes, including approaches for educating your leaders and evolving your processes to have a healthy culture ready for any labor environment.
