FCA is one of the most common causes of pediatric acute ischemic stroke, accounting for 25% of arteriopathies causing stroke. Its treatment, including antithrombotic use and steroids, remains an area of scientific research and exploration with new research findings being published every year. In this webinar, the case of an 11-year-old girl who presented with a new onset of weakness and was found later to have a focal cerebral arteriopathy involving the Lenticulostriate artery will be discussed. The latest guidelines and research findings on FCAs in paediatrics will be presented thereafter
