While we all have a dominant type, it is apparent to most of us that we have particular inner relationships with many, if not all of the nine points. Various theories attempt to address this truth, tri-type being a good example, but in fact, once we have learned to recognize the dominant pattern of our ego, our work is increasingly about seeing the way that we dance with each of the nine points. This produces a particular Enneagram “fingerprint” that reveals the strengths and weaknesses of how we live and express each point. In my experience, this fingerprint tends to shift throughout life, although the dominant pattern remains central and more difficult to alter (we may well observe a similar fingerprint with regard to our instincts.) The question becomes: how do I use the particular insights I get from these patterns to customize a program of inner work and development?
After the 60 minute talk, there will be approximately 30 minutes for question and answer.
