Dr. Michael Coppola
Dr. Michael Coppola has served as an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. With 30 years of experience addressing the Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) epidemic, Dr. Coppola served as a Director of the American Sleep Apnea Association, the nation’s largest non-profit OSA patient advocacy organization, from 2004 through 2014, serving as its President for two years. He also spent eight years on the International Medical Advisory Board at ResMed from 1998 to 2006 and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the ResMed Foundation. He served on the Board of Health New England, a 100,000 member HMO, and of Baycare Health Partners, a PHO. Dr. Coppola is a graduate of Georgetown University Medical School, where he also completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary Fellowship. He was given the rare honor of being granted fellowship in the American College of Physicians by Invitation.
