Join this workshop to grasp ideas on what, why, and how to act in line with the new Guide on ESG reporting. The event is organized by the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA) and supported by the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX).
As one the “hot talks” globally, climate change has driven huge and continuously increasing attentions from financial regulators and investors. With SFC's Strategy Framework for Green Finance and the updated HKEX's Environment, Social and Governance Guide for issuers came into effect on 1 July 2020, the regulators have put further emphasis on this hit topic by requiring climate change-related disclosure from listed companies. It is essential to better prepare corporates for the new regulatory requirements, further understand the expectations from investors as well as provide capacity building on how to identify and manage climate related risks. This time, HKGFA joins hands with HKEX, asset managers and service providers to share their insights and provide in-depth trainings to corporates .
