A Virtual Dialogue on the Racial Divide in America to Promote Peace
The pandemic and civil unrest in our country serve as a call to each of us to do our part in promoting peace, understanding and love in our world. Let start with our parish family. As Catholics, we are called to go into the peripheries to spread the gospel of the Lord. Now is the time to prepare and this parish virtual gathering is a great start. In this webinar, Kathleen Merritt, director of the diocesan office of Ethnic Ministries will facilitate our webinar to create a better understanding of the racial divide and and provide resources for ways in which we can better promote peace. She will be assisted by several member of the parish in presenting.

Participants are required to read the USCCB Pastoral Letter on Racism "Open Wide our Hearts" prior to gathering. Document can be found at https://www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/human-life-and-dignity/racism/upload/open-wide-our-hearts.pdf
