On Wednesday, April 7 at 18:00 CET, Reinhard Goebel will be presenting Part II of his seminar on the Brandenburg Concertos of Johann Sebastian Bach. In Part I, Reinhard surveyed the historical background and discussed the effects the socio-diplomatic implications have on these works. We can all look forward to Reinhard's musical examples from the Brandenburg Concertos forming the foundation of this second seminar. Reinhard has performed these pieces countless times, made two reference recordings of the cycle and has an upcoming book about these works. We are lucky to have him join us again.
