Jess Bollinger
VP of Strategic Partnerships @Arable Labs
Jess works with Arable's growers and partners to reduce supply chain risk and build innovative financial products. She has worked at UNICEF USA; with smallholder farmers in Mayange, Rwanda and Xochimilco, Mexico; on the Hurricane Sandy recovery effort at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning & Sustainability; and in the private sector. Jess has an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a BA from Tufts University in International Relations and Spanish.
Trenton Franz
Associate Professor @University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Natural Resources
Trenton's research focuses on understanding how ecosystems function and exploring how to increase water use efficiency in food production. His lab has built cosmic ray technology to measure soil moisture in real-time. Trenton has a PhD from Princeton University and is an Associate Professor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Natural Resources.
John Heaston
John Heaston focuses on environmental, economic and agricultural issues as they relate to basin development and watershed management. He has anthropology degrees from University of Nebraska and has studied Applied Anthropology at University of Kentucky.
