2. CONSTEEL/ FLEXIBLE MODULAR FURNACE® (FMF®) as a transitional tool for integrated ironmaking plants towards reduction of CO2 footprint. FMF® base module has proven to be competitive with the BOF technology in term of OPEX and productivity by keeping the typical EAF operation advantages such as possibility of dislagging (to control the Phosphorous) and EBT technology (to control the slag in the tapping ladle). This solution is suitable to efficiently work with different raw material scenarios with attractive CAPEX and OPEX figures.
