Key points of discussion:
1. CONSTEEL as a scrap-melting technology for the future, combining energetic efficiency, control of the emissions, possibility to use many different raw materials. Further please note that not only shredded scrap, DRI, HBI; our CONSTEEL allows charging almost any kind of raw materials including HMS scrap, bundles, pig iron plates, beach iron lumps and skulls. TENOVA is the only technological supplier able to accept the stringent environmental requirements posed by various governments and limiting the emissions of CO, NOx and VOC.
Regarding CONSTEEL EAF, TENOVA has 30 years of successes, 76 references worldwide, 16 new contracts since 2017.
2. CONSTEEL/ FLEXIBLE MODULAR FURNACE® (FMF®) as a transitional tool for integrated ironmaking plants towards reduction of CO2 footprint. FMF® base module has proven to be competitive with the BOF technology in term of OPEX and productivity by keeping the typical EAF operation advantages such as possibility of dislagging (to control the Phosphorous) and EBT technology (to control the slag in the tapping ladle). This solution is suitable to efficiently work with different raw material scenarios with attractive CAPEX and OPEX figures.
It is based on our 25 years of similar FMF® experiences with more than 20 such successful installations worldwide particularly in China, Russia, Brazil, US, Indonesia, Vietnam etc. besides in India too.
3. Continuous improvement of EAF automation for supporting operation and maintenance
