The Changing Overdose Crisis in Central Florida - Panelist Discussion
UPDATE: THIS EVENT IS NOW AT CAPACITY FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE. SIGN UP TO ATTEND A LIVE BROADCAST OF THIS IMPORTANT COMMUNITY CONVERSATION VIA ZOOM. VIRTUAL SPOTS ARE LIMITED.

In observance of International Overdose Awareness Day, please join with The Project Opioid Central Florida Board of Directors and the Orlando Sentinel for a panel discussion examining the rise of this epidemic, and the dynamics of the current overdose crisis.

As new statistics become available for both state and federal sources, the true scope of this nightmare is becoming increasingly clear.

These new numbers - which represent tragic human loss - call for a greater understanding of the crisis, making it even more urgent for leaders to look at new strategies to help those at most risk of overdose and death in communities everywhere...With this in mind: What can Central Florida leaders do to help those most at risk for an overdose? How can our region come together to address this crisis?

Join us in this virtual panel discussion commemorating International Overdose Awareness Day as we remember those lost to this epidemic and continue our efforts to save lives.
