Tamara Taporoski, PhD
Research Assistant Professor @Northwestern University
Tamara Taporoski has a background in Psychology. She holds a PhD from the University of Sao Paulo – Brazil (2018), focusing her work on the phenotypic and genetic variation of normal cognitive performance. In July of 2019, Tamara did her postdoc training at Northwestern University in the Sleep Department, where she continues to be involved in an epidemiologic study investigating the association of sleep characteristics and cardiometabolic outcomes in a Brazilian sample. She has become a Research Assistant Professor as of September 2022 focusing her research interests to the microarchitecture of slow wave activity and its relationship with mental health and cognition in epidemiologic studies.
