AATOD is pleased to produce a webinar, which will describe how OTPs can expand their blueprint throughout the country by expanding the use of mobile vans. The Drug Enforcement Administration released its final regulation on June 28, 2021, which went into effect on July 28, 2021.
This webinar will aim to do the following:
-feature speakers, who have been operating mobile van services for many years;
-provide details on federal and state funding support in developing such van systems;
-discuss the cost of purchasing such vans from leading manufacturers;
-provide updates on reimbursement mechanisms to support the use of such vans for patients, who have Medicaid/Medicare eligibility; and
beginning the development of Best Practice Guidelines in using such vans to extend the reach of OTPs.
Claire Brennan and Scott Brinks of the DEA will be the first set of speakers, followed by three experienced administrators, who have operated mobile vans for well over 10 years. Michael Santillo of the John Brooks Recovery Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Sean Soth, along with Catherine Perez, of the Evergreen Treatment Program in Seattle, Washington, will provide the “how to” part of this webinar. Finally, Dr. Patti Juliana of SAMHSA/CSAT will provide policy guidance to the field in addition to Anne Herron of SAMHSA, who will provide guidance on accessing funding.
There will be ample time for Q&A and this webinar will become available to the public for On-Demand viewing via the AATOD website Please send an email if you have any questions about this approaching webinar opportunity.
Certificates of Attendance will be provided upon request.
