After a period working on a part time consultancy basis both for both Calor Gas Limited and SHV Energy, Keith’s role is to explore, develop & exploit routes for the group of companies to achieve the bold ambition to source 100% of its energy products from renewable sources by 2040. This programme focuses on scouting for new supply of renewable gas including BioLPG (Renewable Propane), BioLNG and Renewable DME, supporting sustainable feedstock development, and researching novel conversion technologies. Keith’s key functions are: managing and providing scientific direction for an external network of research organisations and universities; developing a patent portfolio; performing technology scouting and due diligence, and dealing with external stakeholders (trade associations, research associations and government bodies) – including be Chair of the Policy, Innovation and Technical Committee of the World Biogas Association.
