Brenisen Wheeler

Brenisen provides hundreds of presentations, trainings, and workshops in the community to address domestic violence where we live, learn, work, and gather. Since starting in this position in April 2019, she has already reached thousands of community members, professionals, and students within the state of Minnesota equipping them with the education, tools, and resources to collectively unite and break the cycle of domestic violence. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and and several years of research experience studying and presenting on identity, mental health, marginalization and trauma.
Dr. Viann Nguyen-Feng
Assistant Professor @University of Minnesota Duluth
Viann Nguyen-Feng, PhD, MPH (she/her) is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She serves as core faculty in the counseling/clinical masters program and directs the Mind-Body Trauma Care Lab. Her interpersonal violence research focuses on emotional abuse.
