WEBINAR: Where does DEI work stand in 2022?
After George Floyd’s murder in 2020, communications from social sector orgs around racial justice and equity spiked — and difficult but necessary conversations began to create actionable solutions. Foundations and nonprofits put out countless statements on their commitment to Racial Justice and equity, but are these statements still holding true in 2022? Are organizations fulfilling their commitments to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? In our next Network webinar, Niiobli Armah and Samia Mirza of We-Collab will discuss how we continue to have constructive conversations about race, equity, and strategy and how refreshing position statements, tools, and resources can continue the important momentum of DEI efforts.

We’ll Explore:

- How do we continue to have constructive conversations about race, equity, and strategy even when it is no longer headline news
- Equity shouldn’t be political: How to elevate the conversation of racial equity above politics and partisanship
- The importance of refreshing position statements, tools, and resources as we continue to evolve how we talk about DEI

Aug 30, 2022 01:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
