Hour of Code: Creating Virtual Worlds

Computer Science Education week is December 5th - 11th! Register your classroom for a virtual Hour of Code with CodeHS to give your students the opportunity to learn how coding connects to the real world.

This hour-long workshop will begin with guest speaker Kate Marshall, a Business Intelligence Analyst for Alaska Airlines. Kate will share her exciting coding journey in the airline industry!

The CodeHS team will then introduce students to the basics of building virtual reality worlds using HTML and the A-Frame JavaScript Library.

Recommended Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced, High School

Setup: this workshop will be a webinar format, which means that students will not be able to write into a chat field or show their video. We will open up the chat for introductions at the start of the workshop and for questions at the end of the workshop.
