How PPO Processing Policies Affect Claim Adjudication - Part 2
An important business decision any dentist makes is whether or not to sign a PPO agreement. There are many considerations a dentist should take into account before signing. This presentation is a continuation of April’s webinar which provided a generalized overview of typical processing policies utilized by PPO plans and the potential financial implications on a dental practice. Part II will provide more in depth information on the reasoning and rationale behind specific processing policies for endodontics, periodontics, fixed/removable/implant prosthodontics and oral surgery. In addition, dentists will receive information on:
• Questions to ask before signing an agreement
• ADA’s ready to use educational resources
ADA leadership continues to hear your feedback on these issues and has taken action to assist dental offices with dental benefit issues. This webinar is another of the many tactics we are employing as part of our coordinated communications plan on dental insurance. We look forward to your participation.
