This presentation shares how the practice of meditation and mindfulness of employees directly contributes to their professional success and corporate growth.

It seeks to demystify it and share the various types that would work for various personalities and lifestyles. Drawing on Abigail’s professional Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development with The International Meditation Teachers and Therapists Association, and personal experience running wellbeing sessions for her local communities, this session will include guided meditations so that participants can personally experience its benefits.

Abigail Tamsi is a proven technical lead, solution architect and mentor with over 20 years of experience in database technology. She has always valued learning, personal growth, and stretching her comfort zone.

It was this same mindset that brought her to explore Meditation and Mindfulness 10 years ago during a challenging time in her life, while being a full-time working mum with 2 young daughters. With the endless list of positive benefits and transformation that this practice has brought to her life, she is now a passionate advocate for wellbeing practices to prevent burnout, depression, anxiety and stress-related chronic issues in women, especially those who work in corporate.
