Good Grief Community Webinar: How Grief Impacts Your Identity w/ Heather D. Horton, Esq., ACC, Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist
Join Good Grief for a one-hour webinar with Heather D. Horton, Esq., ACC

Identity significantly determines how we understand and experience the world, even through change, loss, and transition. Grief is the normal and natural reaction to change and loss. It impacts one's sense of self—physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. To maintain a sense of belonging and well-being, we must reset our identity whenever we experience grief.

In this webinar, we will explore how grief impacts our identity in three areas — self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-worth, and provide tools to reset your identity while navigating your grief journey and supporting others in grief.

Heather D. Horton, Esq., ACC, Principal/Founder of The H-Squared Group, LLC, is a listening heart with ears for busy professionals struggling with grief, identity, and belonging. She empowers them to stop masking their feelings and ignoring their emotions so they can turn that pain into powerful productivity and reset their identity through grief education, coaching, and recovery support.

Heather is a Tax Attorney, Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist, and Certified Grief and Professional Diversity Coach. She is also the host of the Grief Unplugged Podcast. She is an alumnus of Southern University (B.S., Accounting), LSU Law Center (J.D., BCL), and Georgetown University Law Center (LLM, Taxation).

Heather enjoys supporting the arts, basking in nature, spa retreats, and being "Tee Heat" to her two nephews. She completed her first sprint triathlon in September 2022 at age 50.

All live attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
