The Against Nature Journal #1: Interdisciplinary perspectives on LGBTQI+ advocacy

Description

We are happy to start 2021 with the first launch of the magazine ! From the US to India, via Kenya and France, we will discuss how critical theory, progressive theology, queer journalism and legal activism are pushing for change in LGBTQI+ rights.

T.A.N.J. editors Aimar Arriola, Grégory Castéra and Giulia Tognon will be joined by three contributors from Issue #1: activist and lawyer Vivek Divan, journalist and writer Kari Mugo, and professor of Theology, Religion, and Sexuality Linn Tonstad.
Together we will discuss the interdisciplinary encounters the journal has created space for and the political potential of writing and printed matter.
