Herbal Manufacturing-Legal Considerations with Ellen Kamhi PhD, RN, RH(AHG), AHN-BC

However, to move into a more commercial setting, such as health food stores and online retail, there is a vast array of Good Manufacturing Practice and label requirements that must be met and mastered if you are committed to avoiding the very expensive pitfalls of becoming ‘pen pals’ with the FTC and FDA. In this lecture we will outline definitions of marketing and labeling that is regulated by government organizations in the United States, and specific resources where a manufacturer can access compliance criteria.
