On Wednesday, June 22, from 2 to 3 pm ET, FAIR Health President Robin Gelburd will host a webinar entitled “Telehealth Utilization Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Two-Year Retrospective,” which will provide insights on telehealth’s evolution since winter 2020 using FAIR Health’s comprehensive collection of telehealth data.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the risk of infection from in-person healthcare encounters, telehealth has grown on a previously unseen scale. In search of reliable data and clear analysis on that growth, key stakeholders across the healthcare continuum have relied on FAIR Health’s array of telehealth-related research materials and tools, including the Monthly Telehealth Regional Tracker. Drawing on the nation’s largest repository of private healthcare claims, this one-hour webinar will illuminate telehealth’s evolving role in the healthcare system and provide a greater understanding of telehealth utilization, as well as other descriptive aspects of that venue of care, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Data highlighted will also feature comparisons to key characteristics of pre-pandemic telehealth utilization.
