Land Displacement Monitoring (LDM): Satellite-based ground deformation monitoring as risk mitigation during construction
There have been numerous reports of ground collapse all around the world. Whether it derives from natural ground instability or defective construction works, sinkholes often disrupt the construction process, especially in residential areas, sometimes prompting social accountability.

The solution uses SAR (*1) technology to detect a wide range of ground risks, including landslide, erosion, rockfall, over rivers, or artificial infrastructures such as coastal facilities or embankment. SAR satellites collect data under any weather conditions, always enabling stable remote monitoring. By leveraging the nature of wide-area data collection at once, risk assessment is possible even historically with the pre-construction phase or comparatively with the trends seen in the surrounding areas.
