Each summer, the Presidential Precinct hosts a cohort of 25 of the brightest young leaders from across the African continent for the Mandela Washington Fellowship. Three fellows will be elected by their peers this year to present “Ignite Talks” at our culminating Fellowship event, the Africa Ideas Summit. Their presentations will bring global problem-solving perspectives to the challenges we face in our own nation’s democracy. Join us on Zoom to hear about their transformational efforts!
This event will take place from 11AM-12PM EDT.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is a program of the U.S. State Department with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by IREX. The Presidential Precinct is a sub-grantee of IREX and is implementing a U.S.-based Leadership Institute as a part of the Fellowship.
