Jonty Sacks is a partner at Jaltech, a boutique alternative investments fund manager and is an admitted attorney having previously practiced as an attorney at ENSAfrica (Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Inc), Africa’s largest law firm. Jonty is responsible for driving Jaltech’s growth, and focuses his time at identifying new business opportunities, raising capital for the asset management division and developing relationships with potential partners.

Dino Lazaridis

Specialist: Financial Technology @Fintech Department | Financial Sector Conduct Authority

Dino is currently a financial technology specialist at the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) with over two years of experience in project managing innovation accelerator initiatives, sandbox cases and providing regulatory guidance to fintech startups. Dino assisted in the proposed regulatory treatment of crypto assets and drafting of South Africa’s regulatory direction for crypto assets. Before the FSCA, Dino worked for ten years on financial sector policy for fintech, sustainable finance and insurance at the South African Ministry of Finance. He has a background in finance with a Masters in Economics and recently completed a fintech course from the University of Cambridge and a DeFi course from the University of Nicosia.

Wiehann Olivier

Partner and Digital Assets Lead for Mazars South Africa @Mazars - Audit

Wiehann joined Mazars in 2010 after completing his Accounting Degree at the University of Stellenbosch he then obtained his Honours Degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of South Africa and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2014. Wiehann obtained experience in commerce working for the Maitland Group’s Private Equity and Real Estate division and international experience working for Mazars New York. Wiehann services a variety of clients in various industries, with a focus on digital assets. He is also Mazars South Africa’s Digital Asset Leader. He has been involved in the digital assets industry for over 4 years, which stemmed from his involvement in various industries which includes financial services, property and private equity funds. Wiehann has completed a blockchain and innovation course through MIT and is currently enrolled for an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currenci
